Our auto accident lawyers in Detroit know that car crashes often cause very serious and potentially life-threatening injuries. The driver who causes a car accident should be held accountable for all injuries that occur to all drivers involved in the crash.

Michigan Auto Accident Causes Serious & Critical Injuries

The two-car wreck reported by the Detroit Free Press happened when a Cadillac driven by a 34-year-old Sterling Heights woman was traveling westbound on 19 Mile Road and collided with a Plymouth driving Southbound.

Police were called to the scene of the accident and the 63-year-old man in the Plymouth had to be extricated from the vehicle. His injuries were described as being life-threatening, which is not a surprise as those who become trapped in their cars as a result of a collision are often seriously hurt by the force of the crash and the impact of the vehicle.

Each of the two cars that was involved in the accident had two occupants inside of the vehicle, which means there were a total of four people involved in the accident.  All four were hurt, with the 63-year-old man the only one described as sustaining life-threatening injuries. The other three people involved in the crash were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
